uPVC Bow Windows in Perambalur

Four or more panes in a gentle curve — softer than a bay and the strongest feature you can add to a front elevation.

What It Is

uPVC Bow Windows Explained

A bow window is built from four, five or six narrow panes set at shallow angles so the whole assembly reads as a curve rather than a corner. It projects less than a bay for the same opening width but sweeps wider across the wall.

The effect inside is a panoramic band of glass with very slim frame lines between panes. Because each pane is narrow, glass weight per section stays low and the sightlines stay delicate — which is exactly why bows suit period-style and premium elevations.

Every bow is drawn to scale for your opening: number of panes, the angle between them and which sections open. We keep alternate panes fixed on wider bows so the curve is not broken by hardware.

WHY uPVC

Four Reasons This Frame Outlasts Wood and Aluminium

Durability

Steel-reinforced multi-chambered profiles hold shape for 40 to 60 years without warping, rusting or rotting.

Weather Resistance

EPDM gaskets and drainage channels seal against monsoon rain, coastal salt air and summer heat.

Low Maintenance

No sanding, no repainting. A wipe with soapy water twice a year keeps the frame looking new.

Soundproofing

Double-glazed options cut outside noise by up to 50% — worth it on any road-facing room.

Frequently Asked

Bow Windows: Your Questions

What customers ask us on site about this window type, answered without sales talk.

Call +91 70947 02370
What is a bow window?

A window built from four or more narrow panes set at shallow angles so the assembly curves outward from the wall. It gives a panoramic view and a softer elevation than an angular bay.

Is a bow window more expensive than a bay?

Usually, yes — there are more panes, more coupling posts and more angled cuts, and the fitting takes longer. We quote both from the same site drawing so you can compare.

Can all the panes in a bow window open?

They can, but we rarely do it. Keeping alternate panes fixed preserves the clean curve and keeps hardware out of the sightline, while still giving plenty of ventilation.

Will a bow window suit a small room?

A bow sweeps wide rather than deep, so it needs a reasonably wide wall. In a small room a bay usually gives you more usable depth for the same money.
