uPVC Sliding Windows Explained
Sliding windows move along stainless steel tracks inside the frame, so no sash ever swings out. That makes them the practical answer wherever a projecting window would foul a passage, a balcony, a grille or a neighbour's wall — which describes most apartment openings in Trichy and Perambalur.
We fabricate 2-track, 3-track and 4-track systems. A 2-track gives you one moving sash and one fixed; a 3-track lets two sashes stack to one side for a wider clear opening; a 4-track suits very wide halls where you want half the span open.
Interlocks between sashes carry a brush seal, the bottom track drains outward, and rollers are twin-wheel stainless so heavy glass still slides with one finger years later. Mosquito mesh runs on its own track, which is why most customers order a 3-track with mesh.

What We Actually Fabricate
Four Reasons This Frame Outlasts Wood and Aluminium
Durability
Steel-reinforced multi-chambered profiles hold shape for 40 to 60 years without warping, rusting or rotting.
Weather Resistance
EPDM gaskets and drainage channels seal against monsoon rain, coastal salt air and summer heat.
Low Maintenance
No sanding, no repainting. A wipe with soapy water twice a year keeps the frame looking new.
Soundproofing
Double-glazed options cut outside noise by up to 50% — worth it on any road-facing room.

What customers ask us on site about this window type, answered without sales talk.
Call +91 70947 02370What is the difference between 2-track and 3-track uPVC sliding windows?
A 2-track has two sashes on two rails — one slides, one is effectively fixed, so you open half the span. A 3-track lets two sashes stack together for a wider clear opening, or lets you run a mosquito mesh on the third rail. Most homes order 3-track for the mesh.
Are uPVC sliding windows soundproof?
They reduce noise well against a single-glazed aluminium window, but a casement or fixed window with double glazing will always seal better because a slider needs a running gap in the track. For a bedroom on a main road we would recommend a casement.
Do sliding window rollers wear out?
The stainless twin-wheel rollers we fit are rated for the sash weight and are replaceable without removing the frame. Keeping the bottom track free of grit does more for smooth operation than anything else.
What is the maximum size for a uPVC sliding window?
Individual sashes are limited by glass weight rather than the profile — we typically keep a sash under 1.5m wide and use a 3 or 4 track system to cover spans up to about 3m. Wider openings are fabricated as coupled units.
