uPVC Triangle Windows Explained
Where a wall meets a sloping roof, the honest answer is a triangular or trapezoidal window rather than a rectangle with blockwork filling the leftover space. Because we fabricate in-house, cutting the profile to your roof pitch costs us a set-up, not a special order.
Triangle and shaped windows are almost always fixed, which suits their position: high in a gable, above a stair landing, or in a loft wall where nobody needs to reach a handle. The result is daylight deep into a space that would otherwise be dark all day.
We take the pitch angle from the site rather than from the drawing, because roof angles as built rarely match roof angles as designed. Shapes we make regularly include triangles, trapeziums, arch-tops and pentagons.

What We Actually Fabricate
Four Reasons This Frame Outlasts Wood and Aluminium
Durability
Steel-reinforced multi-chambered profiles hold shape for 40 to 60 years without warping, rusting or rotting.
Weather Resistance
EPDM gaskets and drainage channels seal against monsoon rain, coastal salt air and summer heat.
Low Maintenance
No sanding, no repainting. A wipe with soapy water twice a year keeps the frame looking new.
Soundproofing
Double-glazed options cut outside noise by up to 50% — worth it on any road-facing room.

What customers ask us on site about this window type, answered without sales talk.
Call +91 70947 02370Can uPVC windows be made in a triangle or arch shape?
Yes. We cut and weld the profile to the measured angle in our own unit, so triangles, trapeziums, pentagons and arch-tops are ordinary work rather than a special order.
Do triangle windows open?
Usually not — they sit high in a gable or above a stair where a handle cannot be reached. On larger shapes we can build in a small operable vent if the room needs airflow.
Is a shaped window more expensive than a rectangular one?
Slightly, because of the angled cuts and the extra set-up, but far less than the cost of blocking up the space and losing the daylight. We quote it from the site angle.
How do you get the angle right?
We measure the pitch on site with the wall as built, not from the architect's drawing. As-built roof angles regularly differ by a degree or two, which is enough to show in a finished frame.
