uPVC Tilt & Turn Windows Explained
A tilt and turn window is the most versatile type we make. Turn the handle to the halfway position and the sash tilts inward at the top for secure ventilation you can leave open when you are out. Turn it fully and the whole sash swings inward like a door.
That second position solves a problem every first-floor owner knows: cleaning the outside of the glass. With a tilt and turn you clean both faces standing inside the room, which matters on upper floors and along boundary walls with no access outside.
The hardware is the reason for the price — a continuous multi-point gearing that drives locking points all round the sash. It is also why tilt and turns seal so well, and why they take the heaviest double-glazed units for soundproofing.

What We Actually Fabricate
Four Reasons This Frame Outlasts Wood and Aluminium
Durability
Steel-reinforced multi-chambered profiles hold shape for 40 to 60 years without warping, rusting or rotting.
Weather Resistance
EPDM gaskets and drainage channels seal against monsoon rain, coastal salt air and summer heat.
Low Maintenance
No sanding, no repainting. A wipe with soapy water twice a year keeps the frame looking new.
Soundproofing
Double-glazed options cut outside noise by up to 50% — worth it on any road-facing room.

What customers ask us on site about this window type, answered without sales talk.
Call +91 70947 02370Why are tilt and turn windows more expensive?
The hardware. A continuous multi-point gear set drives locking points around the whole sash and supports two opening modes, so the ironmongery costs several times a simple casement stay. The profile and glass are otherwise comparable.
Can I leave a tilt and turn window open when I go out?
In the tilt position, yes — the sash is held by the gearing at the top and locked at the sides, so it is far more secure than a partly open slider while still ventilating the room.
Are tilt and turn windows good for soundproofing?
They are the best type we make for it. The multi-point gearing compresses the gasket evenly all round and the deeper sash accepts up to a 28mm double-glazed unit.
Does the inward-swinging sash take up room space?
In the full turn position, yes — plan for curtains and furniture. Day to day, most owners use the tilt position and only swing the sash in for cleaning.
