Soundproof uPVC Windows Explained
Noise gets into a room two ways: through the glass, and through the gaps around the sash. A soundproof uPVC window attacks both. Two panes separated by a sealed air or argon gap break the path through the glass, and a multi-point-locked sash on EPDM gaskets closes the path around it.
Against a typical single-glazed aluminium window, the reduction is dramatic — measured customer response is usually "the traffic sounds like it is a street away". We specify the type per room rather than per house: bedrooms and study rooms facing a bus route justify it, an inward-facing kitchen does not.
Because the sealing is so much better, the same window also cuts dust and heat gain. Owners of double-glazed bedrooms in Trichy routinely report the air conditioner reaching temperature faster and cycling less.

What We Actually Fabricate
Four Reasons This Frame Outlasts Wood and Aluminium
Durability
Steel-reinforced multi-chambered profiles hold shape for 40 to 60 years without warping, rusting or rotting.
Weather Resistance
EPDM gaskets and drainage channels seal against monsoon rain, coastal salt air and summer heat.
Low Maintenance
No sanding, no repainting. A wipe with soapy water twice a year keeps the frame looking new.
Soundproofing
Double-glazed options cut outside noise by up to 50% — worth it on any road-facing room.

What customers ask us on site about this window type, answered without sales talk.
Call +91 70947 02370Do soundproof uPVC windows really reduce noise?
A double-glazed uPVC window with an air gap and multi-point locking cuts outside noise by up to 50% compared with a single-glazed aluminium window. The improvement is most obvious on rooms facing a main road or a junction.
Which window type is best for soundproofing?
A tilt and turn or a casement, because the sash compresses evenly onto the gasket all round. A fixed pane is better still where the room does not need to open. Sliders seal least well because a track needs a running gap.
Is double glazing worth it for the whole house?
Rarely. We specify it room by room — road-facing bedrooms, studies and air-conditioned rooms usually justify it; internal courtyards, kitchens and bathrooms usually do not. That keeps the order affordable.
Does double glazing also reduce heat?
Yes. The sealed air gap slows heat transfer, so an air-conditioned room reaches temperature faster and holds it longer. Adding a tinted or low-E outer pane improves it further on west-facing walls.
